The artist’s development toolkit
Welcome
Getting started
The modules:
- are easy to use and each exercise will take only a few minutes to complete.
- involve responding to a series of questions or statements by clicking on the mouse, or writing some text.
- are progressive and build into a bigger picture, so we suggest you start at the beginning and work your way through them, or, if you prefer, choose the items you think best suit your needs.
Keeping notes
The programme will save the results you enter and you may want to write notes as you go along, so keep a pen and paper at hand.
Your profile summary
At the end of each module you will have a profile of your results. You can PRINT your results as you go along, or save them until later. You can revisit a module at any time and review your results, or do it again.
Supporting notes
The Click the button again and the further information is hidden.
button will reveal further ideas to help you do the exercises.
Work individually or with others
You can work on the modules on your own, discuss with a colleague or tutor, or work in a group with other artists. After working on each module, you may find it helpful to review your results with a tutor or mentor as part of a development programme.
Interpreting your results
Each module provides an information sheet to help interpret your results or suggestions on what to do next - and links to other related resources. The results build into a bigger picture, so you may want to carry them forward to the final module in which you can plan what to do next.
